Minutes:

RESOLVED: That the next agenda item be exempt under paragraphs 1& 3 of Part 1 Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006 and accordingly are not open for public inspection on the following grounds: that it includes information relating to any individual and information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority).

Pension Scheme Internal Dispute Resolution Procedure (IDRP)

Report of the Assistant Director People Services

Minutes:

The Hearing Panel considered the report of the Assistant Director People Services (ADPS) setting out the details of a complaint under Stage 2 of the Pension Scheme Internal Dispute Resolution Procedure (IDRP). 

 

As the complainant was dissatisfied with the decision reached at Stage 1 of the IDRP the Hearing Panel were asked to consider the evidence presented with the report and to come to a consensus on whether to uphold the complaint or stand by the decision made at Stage 1.  The report contained all the case details necessary for the Hearing Panel to make an informed decision.

 

RESOLVED - The Human Resources Hearing Panel:

 

      i.        reviewed the report and the supporting appendices;

 

     ii.        considered the complaint in accordance with the Service policy; and

 

    iii.        issued a written response to the complainant in which they set out in full their decision to not uphold the complaint.  This letter was collectively approved by the Hearing Panel and signed by the Chair.
